COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Mr. Jeremiah Joseph Hammitt, 85, of Cookeville, Tenn., died Thursday, March 13, 2003. Funeral services will be celebrated at 3 p.m., on Sunday, March 16, 2003, in the Shellhouse Funeral Home chapel. Deacon Bob Waters will be celebrant. Final prayers and commendations will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Survivors include his daughter, Judith Amonette, Monroe, Tenn.; his sons, Jerry Hammitt, California and Douglas Hammitt, Nashville, Tenn.
