GROVETOWN, Ga. - Mrs. Josie V. Davis, 76, beloved wife of the late Robert V. Davis of Dorn Street, died Thursday, March 13, 2003 at the Doctors Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Clifford Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jerry McNutt officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Davis was a native and resident of Columbia County before moving to Florida and returned to the area in the late 1970s. She was a homemaker and a member of Clifford Memorial Presbyterian Church. Survivors include: her son and daughter-in-law, Haskel and Judy Davis of Zirconia, N.C.; one grandson, Christopher Jon Davis of Ashville, N.C.; a brother-in-law and special friend, Stephen Harris of Augusta; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Davis Culbreath, Mark Cliatt, Brian Martin, Evan Gaskill, Osburn Maddox, J.C. Inglett and Herman Gay.
