Survivors includes, his wife, Wilheimenia Garnett of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl Garnett-Johnson and Vincent T. Johnson of Millington, TN; a son, Michael Garnett of Lincolnton, GA; two sisters, Mamie L. Garnett and Venita D. Garnett, both of Lincolnton, GA; one granddaughter, J. Spencer Johnson of Millington, TN and one step-grandson, Jacquinn Williams of Katy, TX.
