Say 'thank you' -- feed a soldier today
Letter to the Editor
Wednesday, March 12, 2008

My wife and I dine out several times each month, and have found one small way to say "thank you" to our troops.

When we see uniformed troops eating out, we ask the waitress for their checks. The gratitude is astounding, and the feeling that we have done some small thing to let them know we appreciate their efforts is very gratifying.

Anyone care to join the effort?

Jim and Ann Nixon, Aiken, S.C.
