First, of course, you'll need the tax forms. If yours didn't come in the mail this year, you can download them at the Internal Revenue Service site.
The site also has IRS bulletins, tax tables and statistical information about taxes and taxpayers.
Georgia tax forms are available from the Department of Revenue Web site.
For a good overview of tax information, drop by the YPN tax information site. The site has links to a tax library, a refund calculator, tips on electronic filing and free tax software.
Tax Analysts, a nonprofit organization, has a Web site with a wealth of tax news and information. Visitors to the site can also register for any of the 27 moderated e-mail discussion groups, which cover such topics as state and local taxes, business taxes and estate taxes.
Want to know how your tax burden stacks up to the presidents'? Tax Analysts operates a separate site with tax returns of Bill Clinton, George Bush, Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, Richard Nixon and Franklin Roosevelt.
Keep in mind that the returns are in a graphic format, and some are of poor quality.
