The Democratic Party is made up almost entirely of constituent groups who desire only that they be rewarded in some fashion, and therefore will always consistently vote Democrat. There is no thought of country or the common good. Neither competence, experience, honesty nor moral character matter. They unashamedly demand to share in the fruits of someone else's labor, but the government has nothing to give that it does not first take from someone else!

In assessing the current presidential candidates, one finds that both Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are making this "gifting" the centerpieces of their candidacies! Both also are advocating change, but except for electing one of them, the change is unspecified and vague.

Clinton is deceptive, not trustworthy, and interested only in her own acquisition of imperial power and perpetuating the Clinton dynasty.

Obama is an empty suit uttering empty rhetoric, making empty promises, but has appeal to many for his potential to dispense largesse if elected. He has been named the most liberal member of the Senate.

Neither is qualified to be president of the United States! They are both naÃve and inexperienced!

On the other side, Sen. John McCain offers little to conservatives. However, he will preserve our military, maintain our national security and not capitulate to terrorism! Those things being of paramount importance, McCain is the only viable candidate. There are no issues more imperative to a president now than our national defense and our stand against terrorism!
