BATH, S.C. - Mrs. Cova L. Cox of Minter Street, Bath, entered into the Lords presence on Wednesday, February 19, 2003. She was the wife of the late Mr. Uyless B. Cox. Survivors include one sister, Mary Etta Walker of Clearwater; a niece, Mrs. Brenda Cannon and her husband William of Germantown, Tenn.; a nephew, Jack Spearman of Bath; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Cox was born on November 22, 1914 to the late Fred and Minnie Leverette and was a resident of Bath for her entire life. She worked in the Bath Mill Cloth Room office for over 50 years. She was a devoted member of Bath First Baptist Church, where she served for many years as Sunday School Secretary and as volunteer Posting Clerk since her retirement approximately 23 years ago. She was also a member of the CMH Women on Mission Group and the JOY group. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Bath First Baptist Church with Rev. Herb Sons officiating. Interment: Sunset Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Russell Rosier, Ernest Reese, Bobby Langley, Marion Seigler, Jack Williams, Roy Napier, Herman Parker, Josh Warren, Raymond Lamb and Eddie Duncan. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the CMH Women on Mission Group. Friends may call at the residence of her sister, 103 Forest Drive, North Augusta, S.C. or on Friday evening from 6 to 8 at the Hatcher Funeral Home, US Hwy. #1, Langley.
