DUBLIN, Ga. - Calvin A. Leipold is dead at the age 87. He is survived by his wife, who was Sara Brown of Dublin; a son, Cal Leipold Jr.; daughter-in-law, Patricia; two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Johnson of Miami, Fla., Mrs. Hazel Adams of Franklin, Tenn.; three grandsons, and one granddaughter. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, a Mason, a Shriner and a member of Senior Golf. Mr. Leipold was a graduate of Richmond Academy in Augusta and retired after serving 30 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons at 11 a.m., Friday. Rev. James Sanders officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
