AUGUSTA, Ga. - Master Sgt. James Ralph Jessee, (U.S. Army retired), age 64, of Fawn Drive entered into rest Tuesday, February 18, 2003, at the Medical College of Georgia. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 3 p.m. today at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Robert Austin officiating. Mr. Jessee was a native of Scott County, Va. but had been a resident of Augusta since 1969. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. He was also retired from the Dental Lab at the Medical College of Georgia. Mr. Jessee was a Freewill Baptist and a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Angela Jessee Long and F. Ron Long of Evans; and a sister, Janice Zacharias, of Arlington, Va. Pallbearers will be members of the military.
