BILL CLINTON called the Obama campaign a "fairy tale." What about the Clinton "fairy tale" that took place in the White House: cigars, stained dresses, back hallways!
IF ANYONE MUST deal with Richmond County on abandoned vehicles, some things you should have:
1. At least a 90-day supply of valium.
2. Lots of gas money for multiple trips downtown.
3. Lots of patience.
4. The ability not to pull hair -- including your own.
5. A strong urge NOT to drink.
6. Good at working things out on your own.
7. Ability to realize that no one has a clue.
8. And to accept disappointment with a smile.
A RAVE TO Columbia County for street-sweeping in our neighborhood. It now looks neat and well-maintained with all the leaves out of the gutter. A rant for most of my neighbors who won't take a half hour to sweep up their own leaves and debris.
This is a RAVE to Nicole and trainee Kyle at Macaroni Grill. We just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated the excellent service.
TO THE MAN who found my wallet, Jan. 19 in the Kroger at Deans Bridge Road parking lot and returned it to the Customer Counter.
I CANNOT BE the only person worried about the actions of our Columbia County commissioners with respect to the Planning and Zoning Commission. The commissioners' actions are getting "smelly." Leadership 101: If it can't pass the "smell test" ... look for "rotten decisions."
RAVES TO CROSS CREEK High School. They have a great administration and it does not need to be changed, unless they want to bring Mr. Moore back. We still love and miss you Mr. Moore, but we wish you well in your new school.
