CUMMING, Ga. - Mr. Daniel J. Oliver Jr., age 75, of Cumming died Wednesday, January 8, 2003, at his residence. Mr. Oliver, a native of Augusta, had resided in Forsyth County since 1966. Mr. Oliver was a veteran of U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Oliver was employed with Western Electric and Lucient Technology as an electrical engineer prior to his retirement. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Maria D. Oliver, Cumming; sister, Mary Oliver McClain, North Augusta; nephew, David McClain, North Augusta; and a niece, Kathleen Todd, North Augusta. Other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, January 10, 2003, at Mausoleum Chapel at Swanee View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Cross. Ingram Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
