The comic strip The Boondocks, if you can refer to this particular item as a comic strip, is very offensive. How on earth does one get by with such slanderous remarks?
The cartoonist is obviously angry, and the readers are seared each day by the "incite-ful" rhetoric. Certainly, the person has a right to express himself. But should such expression be placed in the comic section, where the ordinary citizen expects to escape from the political hoopla? How long must this abusive person be allowed to malign Sen. Trent Lott, R-Miss.? Personally, I'm sick of being exposed to such rot in the city's newspaper.
