Hawe Creek Bass Club
Founded in June 2012, all tournaments are held out on Thurmond Lake of the Dorn Boating & Fishing Complex in McCormick County, S.C. The club’s first tournament of 2013 will be held Saturday. Tournaments will be limited to the first 20 boats and are open to all ID cardholders and the public with a Fort Gordon fishing license guest permit. Entry fee is $10 per Fort Gordon Sportsman Club member, $20 per non-member, with an optional $5 big fish pot, with a guaranteed $100 for first place and $50 for second place. Registration is with the club prior to the tournament or 30 minutes before the event’s start. State licenses and Fort Gordon fishing permits required.
