Entry fee is $50 per boat (for team or individual). Optional $10 big fish pot fee. Trailering will be allowed, but check in must take place by 5:30 a.m., at Wildwood before launching from another site. Tournament hours are safe light until 3 p.m. One place paid for every 10 boats entered. Invitations have been issued to Georgia and South Carolina youth bass fishing teams, as well as scouts for colleges and/or universities to check out the talent. All of the tournaments feature a guaranteed first-place prize of $5,000. Clark Hill Committee members also compete for Angler of the Year, with a $1,500 prize. Membership dues are $25 and the tournament fee is $70. Tournament hours are safe light to 3 p.m. American Bass Anglers is the largest tournament trail for the weekend angler, with more than 116 districts offering more than 1,000 tournaments. Membership is open to anyone 16 years old and over, but is closed to professional fishermen and professional guides. Those under 18 must have their parents’ consent. Tournaments will be limited to the first 20 boats and are open to all ID cardholders and the public with a Fort Gordon fishing license guest permit. Entry fee is $10 per Fort Gordon Sportsman Club member, $20 per nonmember, with an optional $5 big fish pot, with a guaranteed $100 for first place and $50 for second place. Registration is with the club prior to the tournament or 30 minutes before the event’s start. State licenses and Fort Gordon fishing permits required.
