Wednesday Night Open Team, Bass Tournament, At Wildwood Park
NOTE: There is a three-fish limit in this event. Entry fee is $35 individual (including big fish pot), $40 a team (including big fish pot), 100 percent payback. One place paid per every eight boats. Summer Saturday Night, Open Team Tournament
Entry fee is $25 per boat, with $2 going toward the end-of-the-season Classic on Aug. 27. Tournament hours are 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. out of the Lake Springs boat ramp. To qualify for a berth in the Classic, anglers must fish a minimum of three Saturday night tournaments or pay $75 plus the Classic entry fee of $55 for a total of $130. There is a five-fish limit. American Bass Anglers, District 26 Tournaments
Schedule note: all tournaments out of Wildwood Park. July 9, Aug. 6, Sept. 24. Membership dues are $25 and the tournament fee is $70. Tournament hours are safe light to 3 p.m. American Bass Anglers is the largest tournament trail for the weekend angler, with more than 116 districts offering more than 1,000 tournaments throughout the nation. Membership is open to anyone 16 years old and over, but is closed to professional fishermen and professional guides. Those under 18 must have their parents' consent. American Bass Anglers, Angler of the Year Fish-Off, Oct. 22, Lake Greenwood, S.C.
The top points holder from each divisional championship will be invited to compete in the Angler of the Year Final Round. Practice round is Friday, Oct. 21. Weigh-ins will be held at Billy Dreher Island State Park on Lake Murray. First prize is a Triton/Mercury boat package. Lake Greenwood is off limits to contestants from sunset July 23 through safe light Oct. 21. Registration will be held at 4:30 p.m., at Lake Murray Country Visitors Center, 2184 North Lake Drive, in Columbia. Contestants must attend a mandatory meeting at 5 p.m., at the same place the same day. Contestants must furnish an observer/rider who must qualify under American Bass Anglers rules.
Fort Gordon Sportsman's Club

Tournaments will be limited to the first 20 boats and are open to all ID cardholders and the public with a Fort Gordon fishing license guest permit. Entry fee is $10 per Fort Gordon Sportsman Club member, $20 per non-member, with an optional $5 big fish pot, with a guaranteed $100 for first place and $50 for second place. Registration is with the club prior to the tournament or 30 minutes before the event's start. State licenses and Fort Gordon fishing permits required. 4th annual Hook & Cook Festival, Oct. 15 on the Savannah River
The town of Jackson is looking for sponsors, contestants and craft vendors. The fishing tournament begins on the river at safe light and concludes at 3 p.m. There will be a 100 percent payback in four categories (panfish, catfish, largemouth bass, striper/hybrid bass) and the big fish pot. Entry fee is $50 per boat with a $10 big fish pot fee. Boats leave in order of registration so sign up early.
