Fort Gordon Sportsman's Club

Schedule: Sept. 19 -- Bass Tournament, safe light until noon. Sept. 25 -- Kids' Fishing Derby, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., Claypit Lakes. Oct. 10 -- Bass tournament, safe light until noon. Oct. 24 -- Crappie tournament, safe light until noon. Nov. 14 -- Bass tournament, safe light until noon. Dec. 12 -- Bass tournament, safe light until noon.

Tournaments will be limited to the first 20 boats and are open to all ID cardholders and the public with a Fort Gordon fishing license guest permit. Entry fee is $10 per Fort Gordon Sportsman Club member, $20 per non-member, with an optional $5 big fish pot, with a guaranteed $100 for first place and $50 for second place. Registration is with the club prior to the tournament or 30 minutes before the event's start. State licenses and Fort Gordon fishing permits required.
