MARCH 20: The Sierra Club’s Savannah River chapter will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 3501 Walton Way Extension. Kris Fausenight, of the local Augusta Cave Masters, will give a presentation on the formation of caves, underground wildlife, and the sport of caving. Meetings are open to the public. MARCH 27: The National Wild Turkey Federation’s CSRA chapter will hold its heritage banquet at 6 p.m.
at Savannah Rapids Pavilion in Columbia County. Doors open at
