THURSDAY: The Augusta-Aiken Audubon Society will meet at 7 p.m. at North Augusta Community Center, 495 Brookside Ave. Gary Swint will present “Return of the Wild”, an overview of the history of wolves and their interaction with humans in North America. SATURDAY: The Seventh annual Audubon Trail Ride will be held with a day of organized horseback trail riding at the Silver Bluff Audubon Center and Sanctuary near Jackson, S.C. Silver Bluff’s 3,200 acres of pine forests, bottom land hardwoods, open fields, lakes, streams and ponds provide the perfect setting to ride and enjoy the habitat and wildlife diversity.
