Baseball

• Former and current pros Chris Tate and Cephas Howard will hold a hitting/pitching camp on Nov. 19 at Chancey’s indoor facility in Augusta. The camp will cost $45 and last from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. If interested and/or if you need directions, call Tate at (706) 832-2781.

Basketball

• The Augusta Recreation, Parks and Facilities Department will hold registration for adult basketball through Nov. 30. For more information, call Lida Gregg at (706) 771-2980.

Golf

• The Augusta Sports Council will play host to the Golfing for G.A.M.E.S. Scholarship Tournament on Monday at 12:30 p.m. at Forest Hills Golf Club. Entry fees are $125 per player or $450 a team for Sports Council members and $150 per player or $575 a team for nonmembers. For more details, call (706) 722-8326 ext. 231.

• The Augusta Area Junior Golf Association is now taking applications for its Christmas tour. Tournaments are scheduled at Jones Creek Golf Club on Dec. 19, Midland Valley Country Club on Dec. 20, Forest Hills Golf Club on Dec. 22, Houndslake Country Club on Dec. 26, Applewood Golf Club on Dec. 27 and Bartram Trail Golf Club on Dec. 29. Entry fees are $25 to play in any one event, $45 to play in any two, $65 for any three, $85 for any four, $99 for any five and $115 to play all six events.
