Bears' Cutler suffers groin injury

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler injured his groin while being sacked in the second quarter against the Washington Redskins on Sunday and did not return to the game.

Cutler stayed down on the ground for a few minutes, and clutched at the top of his left leg after he was tackled in the first half.

Devin Hester tied Hall of Famer Deion Sanders’ NFL record with his 19th return for a touchdown.

Hester brought back a punt 81 yards for a score in the second quarter against the Washington Redskins on Sunday. It was Hester’s 13th punt return for a TD, extending his own record in that category.

RAMS: Quarterback Sam Bradford injured his left knee in Sunday’s loss to Carolina.

Bradford was hurt when he landed on his knee after being shoved out of bounds by Panthers safety Mike Mitchell.

TEXANS: Running back Arian Foster left Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs after suffering a hamstring injury in the first quarter.

Foster went to the locker room after carrying four times for 11 yards on the Texans’ opening drive.

EAGLES: Quarterback Nick Foles left Sunday’s game against Dallas with a head injury.

Foles was sacked by George Selvie and Jarius Wynn, a former Lincoln County star, on the final play of the third quarter. He walked to the sideline on his own power and was evaluated by trainers. Foles walked to the locker room as the fourth quarter started.
