The No. 12 jersey worn by quarterback Andrew Luck during last Sunday’s record-setting game against Miami will be displayed in the Hall of Fame’s Pro Football Today Gallery.
Luck threw for 433 yards, a single-game rookie record, and tied Peyton Manning as the only quarterbacks in league history to produce four 300-yard games during their rookie season.
Meanwhile, Luck will be sporting a new look when the Colts play at Jacksonville tonight.
Luck has joined the nearly three dozen Colts players who have shaved their heads in a show of support for coach Chuck Pagano, who is undergoing treatment for a form of leukemia.
SEAHAWKS: Guard James Carpenter, a former Hephzibah player, and linebacker K.J. Wright did not practice as they continue to recover from concussions suffered last week.
Coach Pete Carroll said he is still unsure if either will be able to play Sunday against the New York Jets.
Carpenter was injured in practice last week, while Wright was hurt on the first series of last Sunday’s win against Minnesota.
CHARGERS: The NFL fined San Diego $20,000 because it said a member of the equipment staff failed to immediately surrender towels when ordered to do so by a game official against the Denver Broncos on Oct. 15.
PACKERS: First-round pick Nick Perry’s season is over after he was placed on injured reserve with a wrist injury.
The Green Bay Press-Gazette reported that the linebacker had surgery to repair a ligament.
Perry had missed the past three games, but it was with a knee injury.
TITANS: Tennessee coach Mike Munchak says quarterback Jake Locker will start against Miami on Sunday, barring any setbacks.
Locker has missed five consecutive games after injuring his left, non-throwing shoulder Sept. 30.
