Former Georgia star Knowshon Moreno could face DUI charge

DENVER — Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno could faces charges of drunken driving and careless driving after getting pulled over in south Denver.

Lt. Matthew Murray confirms the former Georgia star was pulled over on southbound Interstate 25 south of Hampden Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Feb. 1 after allegedly driving 70 mph in a construction zone where the speed limit was 45 mph.

Murray says Moreno voluntarily submitted to a blood test, but results weren’t available yet Monday. He says Moreno could face charges of DUI and careless driving.
