Vince Young will start for the Eagles. The two-time Pro Bowl quarterback is 1-1 in his first two starts.
Wide receiver (hamstring) Jeremy Maclin and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle) also won’t play. Running back LeSean McCoy (toe) and cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (knee) are questionable.
LIONS: Ndamukong Suh will get his appeals hearing right away.
This afternoon, the defensive tackle will present his appeal of his two-game suspension for stomping Packers guard Evan Dietrich-Smith to Art Shell. The league handed out the suspension Tuesday, but Suh appealed.
BILLS: Receiver Stevie Johnson has been fined $10,000 by the NFL for mimicking shooting himself in the thigh during a touchdown celebration last weekend that mocked New York Jets receiver Plaxico Burress.
BEARS: Quarterback Jay Cutler isn’t sure he’ll throw another pass for Chicago this year.
Speaking to reporters for the first time Wednesday since he broke his thumb on his right hand against San Diego two weeks ago, Cutler said he might be finished for the season.
“Obviously, I’d want to play next week if they’d allow me,” he said. “I don’t think that’s going to be in the cards. It could be I’m done for the season. I just have to be smart about it and realize that there is a long-term picture here.”
BUCCANEERS: Quarterback Josh Freeman injured his right shoulder in the closing seconds of a loss at Tennessee and is day-to-day for Sunday’s game against Carolina.
