Pittsburgh linebacker James Harrison was excused from Wednesday's practice after meeting with coach Mike Tomlin about the $75,000 fine Harrison incurred for a helmet hit on a Browns receiver.

Harrison has made it clear he's upset about the fine, saying in radio interviews that he isn't certain that he can keep playing the way he has been taught since he was a youngster, now that the league is threatening to suspend players for dangerous hits.

Harrison is expected to return to practice today.

FALCONS: Coach Mike Smith says while Dunta Robinson is "much better" after suffering a concussion, the cornerback still has not been cleared to play.

Smith says Robinson might be able to "run around" as early as today.

Vikings: Brett Favre isn't talking about his meeting with an NFL official regarding the allegations he sent suggestive messages and lewd photos two years ago to a woman who worked for the New York Jets, saying it is a "league matter."

EAGLES: Coach Andy Reid said that Kevin Kolb will be his starting QB vs. Tennessee on Sunday.

TITANS: Vince Young is walking with a limp and coach Jeff Fisher says whether his QB plays against Philadelphia depends on whether he's able to run around in the pocket.

JAGUARS: Starting QB David Garrard didn't make it to the training facility Wednesday because of a concussion. Backup Trent Edwards didn't practice because of a badly sprained right thumb. Journeymen Todd Bouman and Patrick Ramsey , split repetitions.

COLTS: Punter Pat McAfee was arrested for public intoxication Wednesday after police said he took a pre-dawn swim in a city canal and told them "I am drunk."
