ATLANTA — Kyle Korver set the NBA record for consecutive games with a 3-pointer, Al Horford scored 22 points, and the Atlanta Hawks beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-89 on Friday night.
Korver’s 3 with 5:29 remaining in the first quarter gave him at least one in a record-90th consecutive game, breaking a tie with Dana Barros (1994-96). Korver was 2 for 3 from beyond the arc and finished with 10 points.
Paul Millsap had 16 points and 14 rebounds for the Hawks.
Dion Waiters scored a season-high 30 points for the Cavaliers. Andrew Bynum tied his season high with 20 points and grabbed a season-best 13 rebounds, and Jarrett Jack added 13 points.
LAKERS: Expect to have Kobe Bryant back in their lineup when they face the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
The team posted a dramatic video on its Facebook page Friday indicating Bryant will be back Dec. 8.
Bryant hasn’t played this season while recovering from surgery in April on a torn Achilles tendon.
HEAT: With Dwyane Wade missing games as he manages knee issues, Miami has recently started trade talks looking for backcourt help, multiple league sources told ESPN.com.
Wade has missed five games this season.
FINED: The league fined guard Nate Robinson $25,000 for criticizing the officials following Denver’s 97-95 victory over the Knicks last week.
Robinson’s comments came after he drew a technical foul in the fourth quarter of the Nov. 29 game in Denver.
