WASHINGTON — Straining to work out the kinks in an offense coach Mike D’Antoni compared to dancing with two left shoes, Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers even struggled to put away the Washington Wizards.

A night after joking about wanting to face the Washington Generals, the Harlem Globetrotters’ longtime foils, Bryant scored 30 points, and reserve Jodie Meeks added 24, helping the Lakers beat the Wizards 102-96 on Friday to end a four-game losing streak.

Cartier Martin scored a season-high 21 points for Washington.

In Oklahoma City, Kevin Durant scored 31 points, Serge Ibaka added 18 points and 11 rebounds and Oklahoma City beat Sacrament for its 10th consecutive win.

It’s the franchise’s longest winning streak since 1996, when it won 11 in a row as the Seattle SuperSonics.

ROCKETS 101, CELTICS 89

In Houston, James Harden scored 21 points and Greg Smith added 20 to lead Houston over Boston.

Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 18 points.

MAGIC 99, WARRIORS 85

In Orlando., Fla., J.J. Redick had 16 points and Nikola Vucevic added 12 points and 17 rebounds to help the Magic hold off Golden State.

Stephen Curry led Golden State with 25 points.

PACERS 95, 76ERS 85

In Indianapolis, Paul George scored 28 points and Roy Hibbert played his best all-around game of the season, leading Indiana Pacers past short-handed Philadelphia.

Hibbert had 19 points and a season-high 14 rebounds.

Philadelphia played without guard Jrue Holiday, who sat out with a sprained left foot. Evan Turner scored 20 points to lead the 76ers.

In New York, Joe Johnson made a jumper from just inside the arc as time expired in the second overtime, giving Brooklyn a victory.

Johnson finished with 28 points for the Nets.

Brandon Knight scored 22 points for Detroit.

RAPTORS 95, MAVERICKS 74

In Toronto, Linas Kleiza scored 12 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter, Terrence Ross had 18 and the Raptors beat Dallas, snapping a six-game losing streak.

Shawn Marion had 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Mavericks.

BUCKS 90, CAVALIERS 86

In Cleveland, Monta Ellis scored a season-high 33 points, Brandon Jennings added 16 and Milwaukee defeated the Cavaliers.

Kyrie Irving scored 26 points to lead Cleveland.

TIMBERWOLVES 113,

HORNETS 102

In New Orleans, Nikola Pekovic scored a season-high 31 points, Andrei Kirilenko had 21 points and 11 rebounds, and Minnesota Timberwolves won its third consecutive game.

Hornets rookie Austin Rivers had 27 points.
