Garret Siler sees little action in Wizards summer league loss to Hawks

  • Follow NBA

LAS VEGAS - Former Augusta State star Garret Siler saw little action for the Washington Wizards in their 102-82 loss to the Atlanta Hawks in their NBA Summer League opener Friday.

The center didn't score (0 for 1) but had two rebounds and a blocked shot in just over three minutes on the floor.

Bradley Beal, the Wizards first-round draft pick out of Florida, had a game-high 22 points on 6 of 14 shooting. Chris Singleton added 20.

Hawks first-round pick John Jenkins scored 19 points and was 4 for 5 from 3-point range. Keith Benson also had 19 for the Hawks.

Washington will play Houston on Saturday at 10 p.m. Atlanta returns to action Sunday against San Antonio.

Hang in there,

Garret.

A lot of folks, especially Mrs. Sowell at Morgan Road Middle School, are pulling for you.
