Miami outscored San Antonio 39-12 in the third quarter – the second-largest differential for any quarter in Heat history, and the second-worst differential for a period in Spurs history. The Heat trailed 52-35 late in the second quarter.
Mike Miller made his season debut and shot 6 for 6 on 3-pointers, finishing with 18 points tying his career-high for makes from beyond the arc. And the Heat did it all without Dwyane Wade, sitting out on his 30th birthday because of a sprained right ankle.
Danny Green scored 20 points for the Spurs, and Tony Parker had 18.

In Orlando, Fla., Dwight Howard had 25 points and 17 rebounds to lead the Magic past Charlotte for their fifth consecutive win.
Jameer Nelson scored 17 points, Hedo Turkoglu had 15 and Von Wafer 13 as the Magic won for the 10th time in 12 games.
Gerald Henderson had 22 points for Charlotte, which has lost eight of its past nine.
WARRIORS 105, CAVALIERS 95
In Cleveland, David Lee scored a season-high 29 points – 13 in the fourth quarter – and Nate Robinson added 17 points, leading Golden State.
Lee scored seven consecutive points midway through the final period to help the Warriors pull away from the Cavaliers.
Golden State’s Monta Ellis had to be helped from the floor bleeding in the final minute with a cut on his face. He was accidentally struck by an elbow from Cleveland’s Anderson Varejao. Ellis finished with 10 points –13 below his average.
Antawn Jamison scored 19 and rookie Kyrie Irving had 18 for Cleveland.
BULLS 118, SUNS 97
In Chicago, Carlos Boozer scored 26 of his season-high 31 points in the first half, leading the short-handed Bulls.
Boozer hit 12 of 15 shots in the opening half and scored eight points during a 12-point burst that opened up a 20-point lead for Chicago, which was playing without Derrick Rose for the second consecutive game because of a sprained left big toe.
The Bulls improved to 6-0 at home for the first time since 1996-97.
Steve Nash led Phoenix with 25 points and nine assists.
ROCKETS 97, PISTONS 80
In Houston, Samuel Dalembert had 14 points and 12 rebounds, Luis Scola also scored 14 and the Rockets beat Detroit for their fourth consecutive victory.
Tayshaun Prince scored 20 points for the Pistons.

In Milwaukee, Corey Brewer scored a season-high 22 points as Denver started its five-game road trip with win.
Brandon Jennings scored 30 points for the Bucks, who lost for the first time in five home games.
