C.J. Watson added 15 points for the Bulls.

Chicago brought its share of red-clad fans for the game that had some of the intensity of a key regular-season game.

76ERS 103, WIZARDS 78

In Washington, with new 76ers owner Josh Harris sitting behind a baseline, Lou Williams scored 19 points and Philadelphia beat Washington before a sparse crowd.

CAVALIERS 91, PISTONS 87

In Auburn Hills, Mich., Kyrie Irving scored 21 points in his first exhibition game – including five free throws in the final minute – in Cleveland’s victory over Detroit.

Irving, the top pick in this year’s draft, wasn’t in the starting lineup, but he looked comfortable when he entered the game.

HORNETS 97, GRIZZLIES 90

In Memphis, Tenn., former Georgia Tech player Jarrett Jack scored 24 points, Quincy Pondexter and Emeka Okafor added 12 apiece and New Orleans beat Memphis Grizzlies in a preseason game.

The Hornets, playing their first game since the trade of star guard Chris Paul to the Los Angeles Clippers this week, scored six straight points to take a 95-89 lead.

WIZARDS: Swingman Maurice Evans, a union vice president during the NBA lockout, has re-signed with Washington.

The Wizards signed Evans to a one-year contract.

Evans averaged 9.7 points and 2.8 rebounds in 26 games with Washington after arriving from the Atlanta Hawks in a trade in February.

BULLS: Keith Bogans was waived by Chicago. Bogans started all 82 games last season and averaged 4.4 points in 17.8 minutes per game. The Bulls, who had been holding him out of practice, had a $1.73 million contract option and a Dec. 19 deadline for a decision on it.

LAKERS: Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, filed for divorce on Friday from the Los Angeles star, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Vanessa Bryant filed papers in Orange County Superior Court.

HEAT: Erik Spoelstra and Miami have agreed on a contract extension, ending any speculation that Pat Riley’s protege would be a lame-duck coach this season.

Riley, the team president, made the announcement Friday.
