LONG POND, Pa --- Kevin Harvick needed overtime to take the checkered flag.

Harvick stretched his fuel over extra laps and an extra day, breaking free on the green-white checkered finish to win the Trucks Series race Sunday at Pocono Raceway.

Rain halted the event after 17 laps Saturday, so the race was squeezed in Sunday morning before the start of the Sprint Cup race.

Harvick held off Kyle Busch and James Buescher on the final restart to win by a comfortable margin. It was his 10th career win in the series and third top-10 finish of the season.

- Ty Dillon won the ARCA race at Pocono. Tim George Jr. was second.

INDYCAR SERIES: In Lexington, Ohio, pole-sitter Scott Dixon waited patiently before taking control 24 laps from the finish and then coasted to an easy victory over teammate Dario Franchitti in the IndyCar race at Mid-Ohio.

The victory gave the New Zealander wins on the road track in the past three odd-numbered years.

Dixon, who dominated qualifying to capture his first pole of the season, stayed on rookie James Hinchcliffe's bumper until the Canadian finally pitted for the first time on lap 53. Dixon skirted a challenge from Franchitti and took command on lap 61 of the 85-lap race to pull away.

Danica Patrick led briefly after putting off her first pit stop but faded to 21st.

The victory was Dixon's 25th in his nine years in IndyCar. He has three wins, a third and two fifths in his past five starts at Mid-Ohio.
