Augusta RiverHawks 6, Mississippi Surge 1

In Biloxi, Miss., the Augusta RiverHawks swept their two-game weekend series with Mississippi, stopping the Surge 6-1 on Saturday night.

The RiverHawks, who scored three goals in the third period in Friday’s 4-2 victory, had three more in the first period Saturday. 

Casey Mignone added another one in the second period to make it 4-0.

Taylor Larsen had two of Augusta’s other goals. Kyle Watson, Matt Auffrey and Dennis Sicard had one goal each for Augusta (14-23-3).
