Three goals in third period rally RiverHawks

LAFAYETTE, La. — The Augusta RiverHawks outscored the Louisiana IceGators 3-1 in the third period to break a tie and post a 4-2 victory on Friday night in a Southern Professional Hockey League game.

Kyle Watson scored in the first period for the RiverHawks before the IceGators tied it on a goal by Cody Zubko in the second period.

After Tyler Lyon scored at the 1:21 mark of the third period to put Louisiana up 2-1, Alex Morton, Mike Switzer and Taylor McReynolds reeled off unanswered goals for Augusta.

Robert Moss recorded 18 saves in goal to get the win.
