Augusta RiverHawks owners Bob and Diane Kerzner joined James Brown Arena general manager Monty Jones Jr. tonight in a pregame ceremony to officially announce an extension of the team's lease agreement.
The one-year extension will ensure the Southern Professional Hockey League team will remain in Augusta through 2013. The RiverHawks are in their second year of the original two-year lease. The team reached the league championship series in its inaugural season and has spent most of the 2011-12 season in first place.
Hard fought game tonight. I will take the point considering the atrocious officiating.
This made my day when it was verbally said few days ago, now it's official and almost makes up for the mockery of officiating. Not really, but gotta be happy about something!!!

Puddifant and Greco woulda been a godsend.
