Augusta RiverHawks coach Brad Ralph confirmed that defenseman Brett Dickinson retired from hockey earlier today.

Saw Lawne Snyder at the game in Fayetteville on Saturday and he is ready to go he told me...Would be fun to see him return IMO he is a considered a Veteran and still has a blistering slap shot...He told me he had been ready to play for Augusta but the coach decided to go younger.
