Los Angeles Kings center Jordan Nolan, front, scores against Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price during the first period of an NHL hockey game in Montreal on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013.

Jordan Nolan, Anze Kopitar, Alec Martinez, Tyler Toffoli, Jake Muzzin and Justin Williams scored for the Kings, who won their fourth straight.

Carey Price made 12 saves on 16 shots for the Canadiens before being replaced by Peter Budaj, who stopped 12 of 14 shots.

With the loss, Montreal snapped a 10-game point streak dating back to Nov. 16.

The Canadiens started the game with plenty of pressure, but couldn’t find an answer to Jones’ stellar play. Jones made seven saves on an early Habs power play, and remained strong for the rest of the game.

L.A. rewarded Jones’ early effort at 7:03 of the first period when Nolan beat Price to his left for his fourth of the season.

Nolan jumped on a big rebound after a Willie Mitchell shot from the blue line bounced off Price’s pads and landed on Nolan’s stick.

Kopitar added to the lead with only 13 seconds remaining in the period, catching Price out of position after winning the faceoff to his right.

The Kings opened the second period right where they left off. Toffoli put the Kings ahead 4-0 at 5:28, putting a big rebound past a sprawling Price, who was pulled after the goal.

Williams made it 6-0 with his team-leading 11th goal at 18:28.

The Canadiens allowed more than three goals for the first time in 14 games.
