NEWARK, N.J. — Adam Henrique and Bobby Butler scored power-play goals during a 2:12 span in the third period, and the New Jersey Devils extended their winning streak to four games with a 3-1 victory over Pittsburgh on Saturday.

In Ottawa, Alex Ponik­arovsky scored the only goal in Winnipeg’s win over the Senators.

In Detroit, Niklas Kronwall’s third-period goal broke a tie in the Red Wings’ win over Edmonton.

COYOTES 1, SHARKS 0 (SO)

In San Jose, Calif., Mike Smith made 33 saves through overtime and then turned aside two more shots in the shootout to carry Phoenix past San Jose.

CAPITALS 5, PANTHERS 0

In Washington, Troy Brouwer scored two goals and Braden Holtby stopped 27 shots and assisted on Brouwer’s second goal and the Capitals shut out Florida.

MAPLE LEAFS 6, CANADIENS 0

In Montreal, James Reimer made 37 saves and Phil Kessel had a goal and two assists and Toronto defeated the Canadiens.

WILD 2, PREDATORS 1 (OT)

In St. Paul, Minn., Devin Setoguchi’s power-play goal at 4:21 of overtime gave Minnesota a win over Nashville and snapped the Wild’s three-game losing streak.

DUCKS 6, BLUES 5 (SO)

In St. Louis, Bobby Ryan scored two goals as Anaheim beat St. Louis in a shootout.

Viktor Fasth had 31 saves for the Ducks.

In Uniondale, N.Y., Ryan Miller made 41 saves in Buffalo’s victory over New York.

POSTPONED: The Boston Bruins postponed Saturday night’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning because of the blizzard in the area.
