The RiverHawks blanked the Huntsville Havoc 4-0 on Friday night to give first-year coach Rob Miller his first win as the Augusta coach.
Augusta (1-8-1) returns to ice at home tonight, taking on Knoxville at 7:35 p.m.
On Friday night, three of Augusta’s goals came on the power play, two of those by Chad Ziegler. William Lacasse had the other power-play goal.
Jarrett Rush scored the other goal, and it was short-handed.
After a scoreless first period, Ziegler scored his first goal at the 1:24 mark of the second period.
Augusta goalie BJ O’Brien, who had given up all the goals in Augusta’s 4-0 loss to Huntsville on Thursday night, had 40 saves on Friday.
