It was only the third win in 10 games for the Havoc.
Augusta (0-8-1), the lone winless team in the SPHL, gave up a first-period goal to Corey Fulton and second-period goals to Bryant Doerrsam and Mike MacDonald.
Ray Ortiz had the Havoc’s final goal in the third period.
BJ O’Brien gave up all the goals. He had 28 saves.
This was the first of three consecutive games for the RiverHawks. They are at Huntsville again tonight, then play host to Knoxville on Saturday at James Brown Arena.
