North Augusta rolls over Airport

NORTH AUGUSTA — DeJuan Bell scored two touchdowns in the first half as North Augusta cruised to a 47-7 victory over Airport on Friday night.

 

Bell scored on a 60-yard punt return and on a 2-yard run as North Augusta raced to a 28-7 lead at halftime.

The Yellow Jackets, ranked No. 4 in Class AAAA, improved to 7-0.

Bell also hauled in a 61-yard touchdown pass from Landon Washington early in the third quarter

Aquinas scored early and often as it routed Warren County in a homecoming contest.

Joseph Douglas scored four touchdowns, including one on a fumble recovery, to lead the Irish.

Aquinas led 31-0 at halftime as Douglas, Cameron Brinson and Bradley White all scored touchdowns. The Irish scored four touchdowns in the third quarter to improve to 4-2.

Will Dorn showed his versatility as the Cavaliers defeated their rivals away from home.

Dorn scored on a touchdown run and a touchdown pass, and he caught a pair of two-point conversion passes, as Augusta Prep (6-1) rolled to a 22-0 halftime lead.

Dorn added touchdown receptions in the third and fourth quarters. BJ Stone added a rushing touchdown for Augusta Prep and a two-point conversion.

Westminster fell to 3-5.
