Jimmie Foreman

SCHOOL: Silver Bluff

CLASS: Junior

POS.: Running back/wide receiver/linebacker

HT./WT.: 6-1/185 pounds

HIGHLIGHTS: A week after producing 218 rushing yards and one touchdown against Midland Valley, Foreman backed it up with 180 yards on the ground in just over two quarters of play in a 34-7 victory over Swansea this past Friday. The athletic junior, who also contributes at receiver, linebacker and even throws an occasional pass, moved to tailback Sept. 1 against Fox Creek and has helped Silver Bluff reel off three consecutive wins to get to 3-2 before region play begins.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING: “Jimmie is an athlete. He’s a great athlete, great attitude, does a great job with vision, seeing the hole, hitting the hole, bouncing, everything that you want from a running back. He’s a good kid and we have a lot of them out here.” — Silver Bluff coach Burton Able

WHAT HE SAID: “Offensive line has been helping me get the yardage. They open the holes to get a lot of yards. Everything has been clicking as a team. We’re staying focused and everybody is playing together as a team. We want to be better than the game before.”
