Thomson held its spot at No. 2 and Burke County at No. 7 in Class AAAA. The Bulldogs had another week off while the Bears improved to 5-0 with a 35-19 victory at Effingham County this past Friday.
Screven County stayed at No. 3 and Jefferson County at No. 7 in Class AA. The Gamecocks rolled to a 49-0 rout of Laney to get to 4-0, and the Warriors topped Westside 62-6 for a second consecutive week of more than 60 points scored, and a 5-0 record.
Greenbrier continued to pick up votes in Class AAAAAA and Swainsboro did the same in Class AA.
North Augusta and South Aiken held their ground in the latest South Carolina Prep Media Poll.
The Yellow Jackets kept their spot at No. 4 and the Thoroughbreds at No. 5 in Class AAAA. North Augusta moved to 5-0 with a 34-21 victory over Strom Thurmond, and South Aiken remained 4-1 after a week off.
Barnwell remained No. 2 in Class AA after an open week. Wagener-Salley is No. 5 and Williston-Elko is No. 6 in Class A.
Strom Thurmond dropped out of the Class AAA poll after a second consecutive loss to fall to 3-2.
