Columbia vs. Richmond

It is too bad that the Chronicle chooses to minimize the accomplishments of Richmond County schools in favor of Columbia County. Almost every day a Columbia County story occupies the front page of the sport section (especially Evans, Greenbrier and Lakeside).
One would think that the Cross Creek girls' basketball team's Georgia State AAAA leading 12-0 record would be material for some kind of an article, especially since the girls have no one over 5'10" and have to rely on skill and coaching. But other than box scores, there has been very little said about this quality program. Too bad!

why?

Why does it take so long, a week to update the Highschool basketball scores? It's sat. morning and no stats on friday night's games?

We rely on the schools to give us the scores. Many schools do not contact us or contact us late. You can help by contacting the schools you are interested in and asking them to be more timely in calling in the scores.
