Grovetown posts first win

GROVETOWN — Grovetown quarterback Juwan Biggers scored four touchdowns and accounted for 343 total yards as the Warriors beat Houston County 27-23 for their first victory of the season.

Biggers, a senior, scored on runs of 88, 76 and 55 yards and also returned a kickoff 89 yards for a score.

He rushed for 253 yards on 15 carries as the Warriors out 315 yards on the ground.

On defense, Biggers perserved the victory by intercepting a Houston County pass in the end zone on the final play of the game.

Grovetown is now 1-3 overall and 1-0 in Region 2-AAAA.
