HIGHLIGHTS: Garrett won two starts Sept. 15, including a complete-game one-hitter against Elbert County. Garrett has two one-hitters this season and owns a 10-4 record, helping lead Harlem to 11 consecutive wins entering the Region 3-AA Tournament on Wednesday.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING: “She has grown up. It takes time as a freshman, but she has adapted well. I think she was nervous in her first start, and high school ball is more pressure, but she’s growing up fast.” – Coach Michael Leverett

WHAT GARRETT SAID: “It’s been a great season, and this is a great group. We’ve worked hard to do better and I think we’re pleased. It took time for me to adjust to high school ball, but I’m getting more used to it.”
