The Georgia High School Association’s Board of Trustees has rejected a proposal that would have allowed GHSA and Georgia Independent Schools Association members to play each other during the regular season.

Though the proposal, which was brought forth by Region 2-A, was denied, the decision doesn’t permanently eliminate chances for the two associations to have games between member schools.
