Lakeside hammers Effingham County

GUYTON, Ga. — Quarterback Mark Weidenaar accounted for four touchdowns – two through the air and two on the ground – as Lakeside went on the road to pick up a 42-14 win over Effingham County on Friday night.

Jonathan Long hauled in one of Weidenaar’s TD passes – a 60-yarder that put the Panthers ahead in the second quarter. He also added a pair of touchdown runs. The running back finished with 176 yards rushing. Weidenaar racked up 125 yards on the ground.
