CLASS: Junior HEIGHT: 5-foot-4

HOW SHE FARED: Rowland went 3 for 3 with seven RBI in Greenbrier's two-game sweep of North Clayton in the first round of the Class AAAA state playoffs.

ROWLAND ON ROWLAND: "It feels good to know that I was able to do something to help the team win. Regardless of who you play, or how you win in the playoffs, it's always the same feeling. It always feels great."

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: "Casey is very important to this team. She's really done a lot better this year swinging the bat and she's doing a great job protecting Savanah (Coon) in the (batting) order." -- coach Garrett Black
