The schedule keeps traditional special nights and increases fireworks shows and giveaway nights. But several new ideas made the list, including theme nights on most Thirsty Thursdays.
"We're having some fun with the Thirsty Thursday crowd," GreenJackets general manager Nick Brown said. "We say it all the time, every game should be an event by itself. Well, we may not draw more fans (on Thursdays), but we're going to entertain them even more."
Among the promotions planned are 1990s Night on May 6 and a tribute to Dan Aykroyd on July 1. Alcoholics Anonymous Night will take place June 10, and Margaritaville Night on July 2.
The annual St. Patrick's Day celebration at Lake Olmstead Stadium will take place June 17, while the game July 12 will begin at 10:35 a.m. as part of an Education Day with Richmond County schools.
An appearance from team owners Billy and Cal Ripken Jr. isn't on the schedule, but Brown said either of the brothers may attend a game this year. The GreenJackets' season begins on the road April 8 before the home opener at Lake Olmstead Stadium on April 16.
Brown said the team has already surpassed last year's total for season tickets sold. Single-game tickets go on sale March 29.
