Strother maintains lead in eGolf Tour event at Woodside Plantation

In Aiken, Gordon Strother maintained his lead at the eGolf Tour’s Championship at Woodside Plantation on Thursday.

Strother, who opened with a course-record 61 Wednesday, shot 2-under-par 70 and has a two shot lead over Brian Duncan and Jin Jeong. Duncan had 66 and Jeong posted 67. Strother is at 13-under 131.

David Robinson, of Sandersville, Ga., had the low round of the day, carding 64 to move into a tie for seventh at 135.

Aiken’s Stephen Poole (68-73–141) and former Augusta State golfer Mitch Krywulycz (71-70–141) were the only other players with local ties to make the cut.

Alex Hamilton (72-71–143), Major Manning (73-70–143), Taylor Floyd (75-75–150), and Brad Arrington (83-69–152) were among those to miss the cut.
