Once again, Patrick Reed came through in a PGA Tour Monday qualifier. Reed, who missed the cut at last week’s John Deere Classic on a sponsor’s exemption, shot 7-under-par 65 to grab the fourth and final spot in this week’s True South Classic in Madison, Miss.

Reed played his way into a PGA Tour event for the fifth time this season. He is eighth in non-member earnings with $130,790.

Reed will join locals Scott Brown, Kevin Kisner and Vaughn Taylor in this week’s field. Brown is trying to build momentum off his tie for seventh place finish at the John Deere Classic which earned him a check for $154,100 and helped him climb 32 spots to No. 151 on the money list.
